**Job Overview**:

- Greet customers and help them find the souvenirs and / or gifts as quickly and efficiently as possible, as well as process point-of-sale transactions and keep work area neat and clean, including restocking as items sold
- Customer service is the most important attribute
- Retail or customer service experience an asset
- Dependable with a friendly, outgoing, positive attitude
- Able to approach customers to ask if they need help with ease
- Able to learn about the products we sell to recommend to customers when asked
- Able to work with mínimal supervision, as well as part of a small team
- Able to work on feet for extended periods of time
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs, as needed from time to time
- Strong English language skills
- Basic to strong math / cash handling skills
- Able to use or learn how to use our Point of Sales (POS) quickly and effectively
- Bondable and able to secure security clearance required to work at Halifax Stanfield International Airport
