**Job Summary**

We are seeking a hard-working, motivated Merchandise Quality Control/Warehouse Worker to join our team.

**Job Type / Category**
- Load and unload several trucks per week
- Responsible for quality control of incoming merchandise, including small, medium and large items
- Responsible for checking several hundred items per day, ranging in size and product
- Once boxes are opened, items are checked for use, damage, missing parts, etc. in conjunction with Supervisor
- Responsible for separating items according to value and type (less expensive items, clothing, electronics, etc.)
- Wrap skids with plastic wrap
- Hours may vary dependent on business needs
- Provide general housekeeping duties of warehouse, including sweeping of warehouse floor, cleaning of bathroom, on a rotating basis with colleagues

**Required Education, Skills and Qualifications**
- Must have ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be physically fit, able to stand, bend, lift, pivot, sit, etc. for extended periods of time
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Must have a very strong attention to detail, as well as the ability to work efficiently and competently
- Strong organization skills
- Ability to take direction and work independently
- Ability to be cross-trained in other areas an asset
- Forklift license an asset
- Use Excel to access the item manifest, and coordinate with Listers as needed

Regular hours for this department are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with the occasional Saturday (always given in advance).

Must not have a criminal record and be bondable.

**Salary**: From $15.50 per hour

- Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred)
