**Join our Team**: Reliable Logistics has an exciting opportunity for a Forklift Operator to join our Dock team in the Mississauga Location.We are seeking an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, specifically, someone interested in a career in logistics. **"Must reside and be legally able to work in Canada."** **Job Duties**: - Responsible for the safe operation of all lift devices that they are licensed on as directed by Dock Supervisor/ Lead - Proactively seeks out other areas to help when their assignments are complete - Maintains a professional and clean machine along with daily checks - Identifies and resolves safety concerns within the scope of their role - Educates pedestrians about forklift safety - Timely and accurate loading and unloading of trailers. - Inspect and report the safety of equipment, workplace conditions and activities including all accidents or near miss situations - Support flexible work schedules including reporting to work early and stay late as required - Other duties as assigned by Supervisor - Housekeeping as per direction **Experience and Qualification**: - Minimum 1-3 years related experience and/or training as a Forklift Operator, with High Reach and Counter balance experience - Maintain valid certifications as determined by provincial or federal regulations for all lift vehicles - Valid Forklift Counterbalance Certificate - Must be able to lift 50 pounds - Regular attendance required - Strong attention to detail and the ability to easily adopt new processes required to meet changing business needs. **Shift**: 8:00 AM-4:00 PM | 4:00 PM-12:00 AM **Pay Rate**: $19.5 - $21.5 Per Hour (Depending on the experience) - $1 Premium for afternoon shift. _ **Perks**: - 2 weeks vacation per year. - 3 paid sick days and 3 paid flex days per year. - $100 Annual Safety Shoe Reimbursement - On-site Parking - Casual Dress - FOB access to the building - Company merchandise - Company events, luncheons, and recognition galore. **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: $19.50-$21.50 per hour **Benefits**: - Flextime - On-site parking Flexible Language Requirement: - French not required Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Day shift - Evening shift - Monday to Friday - No weekends Ability to commute/relocate: - Mississauga, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) **Experience**: - Forklift: 1 year (required) Work Location: One location
