**Who we are**
Global Gourmet Foods is a food manufacturing plant specializing in kettle cooked foods. We produce and distribute product to vendors both locally and internationally; it’s very likely you’ve already eaten something we produce. We are currently a mid-sized company undergoing massive growth and are seeking self-starting individuals who are hardworking and able to learn in a face paced environment. Global Gourmet Foods is a part of the Premium Brands family.
**What you’ll do**
1. Perform routine microbiological test, prepare samples to the accredited laboratories
2. Perform R&D product quality test, project based
3. Responsible for administrative data entries, simple data trending for audit preparation
**Required Qualifications**
- Must be detail oriented, good visual inspection ability and reliable
- Experience in Quality Control activities in a food processing environment is preferred not a must
- Knowledge of food safety, food microbiology, Quality Assurance programs in Ready to Eat foods, previous experience in federal meat facility is an asset
- Fluent in written and oral English. Knowledge of other languages such as Mandarin Chinese, would be an asset
- Ability to work independently and cooperatively with all employees and contractors and to provide technical help when needed
