J&J Property Maintenance is a fast growing business looking for reliable team members to make a lasting impression on our customers. Our company offers a variety of outdoor services providing year-round employment opportunities.
This winter we are looking for **Skid Steer Driver(Operator).** Primary duties are to clear commercial lots with a skid steer.
Winter Equipment operators must submit pictures of work completed and time sheets for work performed and are expected to be **on call 24-7 to clear according to winter conditions**.
We are Offering:
- Seasonal Winter Position Feb 15 - April 15; summer positions are also available
- Guarantee of 20 hours per week
- Health and dental benefits are available after 3 months of employment.
**Job Requirements**:
We are looking for someone dependable and motivated to perform high quality work within targeted timelines who also has:
- 1-3 years of experience operating a skid steer or other snow clearing equipment.
- Ability to be on-call 24-7 in winter months including weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift more than 25 pounds
- Ability to work independently and as part of a larger team to complete work
- Ability to communicate especially in difficult situations
- Attention to detail
NOTES:
This job will be physically demanding
- Minimum hours are filled with shop maintenance duties, training, or occasional assistance in other business divisions
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Seasonal
Contract length: 3 months
Part-time hours: 18-25 per week
**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Schedule:
- On call
Supplemental pay types:
- Overtime pay
**Experience**:
- Truck and Plow Clearing: 1 year (preferred)
- Heavy Equipment/Skid Steer: 1 year (preferred)
Work Location: On the road
