We have now launched Para CPR & First Aid, which is already gaining credibility because of our high quality, Paramedic-led courses. With multiple instructors and an increasing demand for courses, we're looking for a manager to lead day-to-day operations effectively.

**Role Description - First Aid / CPR Operations Manager**

Here are some of the duties that the new First Aid / CPR Manager will be responsible for:

- Coordinating the overall delivery of First Aid & CPR courses
- Ensuring successful delivery of courses and striving for continuous improvements in delivery
- Leading the hiring and onboarding of new FACPR staff
- Gathering employee availability
- Scheduling course dates and modifying / cancelling as needed
- Communicating with clients / leads as needed for booking, sertive delivery, etc.
- Working with industry allies as needed (certification agency, other FACPR providers, external marketing partners)
- Gathering and acting on client feedback
- Organizing and purchasing of FACPR equipment
- Ensuring timely and accurate roster submission
- Maintaining and updating various staff resources, including the FACPR Ops Guide, lesson plans, and presentations

**Position Expectations**

Para-Mentors has the following expectations of our new First Aid / CPR Manager:

- _Time Management - _You'll be responsible for maintaining optimal service delivery. This could include planning new projects, communicating with staff, etc. Making effective use of time is a critical aspect.
- _Independent Work Ethic - _You'll be responsible for designing and deploying new initiatives independently, and following those initiatives to completion. While you'll always have the leadership team to rely on, being able to independently work is a key to success.
- _Travel _- you must be willing to travel at times throughout the west GTHA for shifts. Our head office and primary business location is in Mississauga (Dixie/401) but we do conduct business elsewhere. Travel expenses are covered for excessive distance outside of this region.
- _Smartphone / computer _- you must have access to a cell phone, computer, and reliable internet access for both. We use digital communication for all of our internal communications.

**Key required qualifications**
- You must have these to be a good fit on our team. These attributes must be present in order to advance through the process._
- Completed education as a paramedic, nurse, RT, or similar emergency medical professional
- Passion for teaching First Aid & CPR to Paramedics, students, healthcare providers, and the general public
- Excellent communication ability - verbal and written
- Excellent customer service skills
- Constant positive attitude in the workplace
- Strong independent work ethic and time management skills
- Desire to help advance the profession
- Passionate about the work that our company is doing
- Basic computer and technology skills
- Access to a smartphone, computer and reliable internet
