Leveraging expertise, you will lead the Enterprise Process team as we transform the way we integrate processes across the company, effectively manage the technologies that support us, and care for the data we rely on and produce.
As General Manager, you will manage enterprise-wide initiatives for process improvements including working with business process owners and business improvement leads that represent our businesses and functions to evaluate, prioritize, recommend, and implement enterprise-wide initiatives.
Minimum Requirements:
- University degree and breadth of experience in operational roles across an enterprise value chain- 15 years of industry experience in operations, maintenance or technical roles, or business functional roles- Strong business acumen with an interest, aptitude and passion for process and data management- Exceptional interpersonal skills, particularly in partnering with leadership across an enterprise- Detailed knowledge of the end to end value chain
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage, improve, and design enterprise-wide process improvement initiatives- Plan, implement, and develop best practices for business processes to achieve organization goals- Monitor and communicate status of business initiatives/projects to senior management- Assist in budget planning, resource allocating, and scheduling while leading a team of approximately 9 process leaders and 40 process professionals- Support business decisions relating to IT system implementation, modification, maintenance, etc.- Develop and maintain business process documentation- Manage enterprise metrics, analyses, and reporting
Location and other Key Details:
- You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 - 6th Ave S.W.- Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with the potential for extended work hours based on business needs- Relocation support will be provided- Depending on the nature of the role, we have implemented a Hybrid Work Model to provide our employees with a combination of office-based work and work from home flexibility.
