**About the Role**:
The successful applicant will work in the Business Planning and Strategic Services section of the Community, Recreation and Cultural Services Department on a variety of tasks including the co-ordination and implementation of continuing municipal projects as well as the research and conceptual planning and design for proposed projects.

**What You Will be Doing**:

- Provide administrative support for the Parks Design and Development section.
- Communicate with the public, contractors, staff and other government agencies.
- Co-ordinate, monitor and inspect on-going departmental projects.
- Provide assistance, prepare work plans, complete surveys, research and reference parks components for departmental projects.

**About You**:
**Qualifications**:

- Currently enrolled in a Business Administration or related program.

**Skills**:

- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proven clerical, research, analytical and computer skills.
- Ability to work with others.
- Well-developed organizational skills.

**Other Requirements**:

- Proven completion of Ministry of Labour Worker Health and Safety Awareness training.
- A demonstrated commitment to enhancing a safety culture.
- Proof of education will be required upon hire.
- Valid Ontario Driver’s Licence, Class “G” with a clean driving record.
