Pembroke, Canada Ambassador Building Maintenance Limited - North Full time

**Summary**

This position is responsible for contributing to the coordinated efforts of ensuring a quality service approach to all of our clients. All responsibilities must be performed in a manner consistent with the Ambassador Building Maintenance values and ethics. This position requires a person to wear many hats, be self motivated with good time management skills and the ability to ensure tasks are completed with shifting priorities.

**Responsibilities**:
Dusting, sweeping, mopping and vacuuming

Disinfecting touch surfaces including but not limited too: door handles, light switches, taps, fountains, counters, time clocks etc.

Clean windows/glass and keep blinds dust free

Cleaning and restocking restrooms, breakrooms, lunchrooms etc.

Emptying wastebaskets, removing trash, sorting recyclables

Safely use floor equipment (scrubbers, buffers etc.)

Standing, walking, crouching, stooping, bending, pushing, twisting and pulling are required for various cleaning activities

Sweep and hand mop stairwells

Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

**Required Skills**:
Own Transportation is Required - No Public Transportation is available

Enjoy being physically active and working with your hands

Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and methods

Perform a wide range of clean up tasks - ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Must be able to adhere to all safety protocols

Be a proactive self-starter who can work independently

Ability to work in different environmental conditions (both indoor and outdoor as well as in hot/cold conditions)

Ability to be bonded and pass a background check
