**Basic Job Duties**

Dough Production - including preparing ingredients, making, cutting, and rolling dough, slicing, spraying, and seasoning of bagel, breads, cookies, chips and other ancillary products, and otherwise assisting with dough production duties as directed.

Additional Production - including boiling, seeding, baking, and otherwise assisting with production duties as directed.

Ancillary Production - slicing, spraying, seasoning and baking dippers and other ancillary products, and otherwise assisting with production/food service duties as directed.

Food Service - including making sandwiches, serving customers, collecting payment, and otherwise assisting with food service duties as directed.

Unloading and Organizing Supplies, Ingredients and Packaged Product - including loading/unloading delivery vehicles and transferring supplies, ingredients and packaged products between storage and work areas.

Packing Product - including bagging, labeling, and crating.

Cleanup - including sweeping, and mopping floors, washing work surfaces, walls, equipment and refrigerators, washing pots, pans and trays, disassembling and cleaning production equipment, trashing-out into designated containers.

**Additional Requirements**:

- able to work in a standing position for entire shift
- able to work in a hot environment and handling hot items
- able to do heavy lifting (including mixing equipment, stacks of trays, etc.)
- must have a general understanding of food and kitchen safety and maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times
- safe food handling certification and first aid certification is expected and will be paid for by The Bagel Oven should you require to attain these once hired.
- must have a valid driver’s license and/or consistent transportation to and from the job-site

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.55 per hour
