**Job Summary**
**Duties**
- Operate commercial trucks to transport freight to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight during transit.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of driving hours and vehicle maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
- Perform basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure the truck is in optimal condition.
- Operate heavy equipment and forklifts when necessary for loading and unloading tasks.
**Qualifications**
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with manual transmission endorsement is required.
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a strong understanding of legal size freight and oversize transportation.
- Knowledge of automotive repair techniques is a plus for maintaining vehicle performance.
- Experience operating heavy equipment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with team members and clients.
- Ability to work closely with others on a jobsite and during transportation

Pay: $65,000.00-$95,000.00 per year

- Canadian and/or US truck driving: 2 years (required)
