**Position: Part-Time Personal Support Worker (PSW)**

**Location: Mississauga**

**Employment Type: Part-Time**

**Preferred Languages: Hindi or English**

**Role Overview**:
**Primary Duties**:

- Support clients with daily self-care routines such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare light meals and assist with feeding when necessary
- Help with mobility, including walking and simple exercises
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Monitor and accompany clients during outdoor activities at home
- Implement dementia care strategies including redirection techniques
- Ensure the client’s living space remains clean, safe, and comfortable

**Client Profiles**:

- Male client: Deaf, visually impaired, with mild dementia
- Female client: Living with severe scoliosis
- Both clients need assistance with personal hygiene and everyday tasks.

**Working Hours**:

- Morning: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
- Evening: 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

**Qualifications**:

- PSW certification is an asset
- Government-issued photo ID required
- Recent Vulnerable Sector Police Check mandatory
- CPR certification valid and up to date
- Previous experience in dementia care and elderly support preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in Hindi or English
- Own a reliable vehicle and hold a valid driver’s license
