**Job Duties Include**:

- Actively pursue new design opportunities and projects for our clients
- Lead generation, cold calling, referrals**, **prospecting
- In-person consultation meetings with prospective clients to establish needs wants and expectations
- Present accurate and detailed cost estimates and proposals for construction projects to clients, manage new project implementation
- Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine the scope of work and materials required
- Collaborate with subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes.
- Analyze project drawings and specifications to identify potential risks, challenges, and opportunities.
- Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and gather additional information for estimating purposes.
- Utilize estimating software and tools to perform quantity takeoffs, cost calculations, and pricing analysis.
- Prepare comprehensive bid proposals that include detailed breakdowns of labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
- Complete final designs, in a timely manner, to customer satisfaction
- Assist in the sale of installation projects from completed designs
- Prepare the estimates and quote proposals for install, as required
- Manage the transition of the quote to the project completion ensuring quality, efficiency, and deadlines during the installation process

**Requirements**:

- Completion of Post-Secondary degree or technical training in a relevant field
- Sandler Sales Training or Any Sales training an asset
- Proven experience as a construction estimator or similar role in the construction industry
- College Diploma, GED or equivalent
- 2+ years’ experience in landscape design
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work with others effectively
- Ability to manage around tight deadlines and still get the details right
- Fluent in English, both oral and written

**Salary**: $65,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
