The Torngat Mountains National Park - an Inuit Homeland, is one of the last untamed, unspoiled places left on earth. Comprised of 9,700 square kilometers of spectacular wilderness, the Park stretches north from Saglek Fjord to the northern tip of Labrador, and westward from the Atlantic seacoast to the Québec border. It’s a land of mountains, polar bears, small glaciers, and caribou, where the Inuit hunt, fish, and travel as their ancestors did.

**Air Borealis** is currently seeking a **Maintenance Worker** on a fixed term basis in the **Torngats, NL**.

The Maintenance Worker's role includes support for preventative maintenance, monitoring utilities, and repairing camp equipment and utility systems. The maintenance worker oversees repairing and troubleshooting equipment, systems, and structures for Base Camp. The maintenance worker requires a number of different areas which include plumbing and electrical systems as well as the structural makeup of buildings and items of furniture.

Preferred Experience:

- Strong communication skills, including the ability to listen actively and respond verbally in a manner that is clear and respectful
- Capable of adapting repair skills and mechanical knowledge to a wide range of different requests
- Ability to deal with diverse groups of people
- Ability to live in an isolated camp for an extended period of time
- Five years of experience in general maintenance work
