**The Opportunity**

**Superior Forklift**is looking for a mechanically skilled **Shop Technician**(Heavy Equipment or Automotive Mechanic) to join our team in **Regina, Saskatchewan**. As the Shop Technician, you will be responsible for completing a variety of heavy equipment repair tasks required by our loyal customers.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**

As the Shop Technician your key responsibilities will include:

- Performing mechanical maintenance on a variety of material handling equipment and machinery
- Diagnosing and completing equipment repairs in a timely manner, providing a variety of repair options that best meet customer needs
- Tracking parts for ongoing service jobs
- Completing work order forms
- Communicating with the Shop Coordinator, Shop Lead, Service Manager, and Technical Support Center regarding service jobs and repair needs
- Proactively identifying maintenance and repair opportunities for equipment
- Following established warranty processes

**Required Skills & Qualifications**
- At least 5 years of heavy equipment or automotive repair experience in a related industry
- Provincial Heavy Duty or Automotive Journeyperson’s ticket or a Relevant Red Seal Trade Certification
- Experience with hydraulics and diagnosing and servicing electric engines is a strong asset
- Previous aerial platform and lift truck experience an asset
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to partner effectively with external customers and internal stakeholders
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
- High school diploma
- Valid driver’s license

The base pay range for this role is: $39.46 to $46.64 per hour, depending on experience.

This is an **onsite** role based in **Regina, Saskatchewan**.
