**Responsibilities**:

- Receive and unload shipments of daily produce and other items.
- Clean, organize and stock shelves with department-assigned items.
- Perform basic math to figure out how much produce to buy, how much of it has been sold, and how much is still left to sell.
- Answer phone calls, take orders and process payments on the touch-pad register system.
- Assist customers with their purchases (e.g. figuring out which type of lettuce is best for a salad).
- Update daily produce sign displays.
- Print receipts for customers.
- Maintain cleanliness of the produce department by sweeping, mopping and erasing spills.
- Resolve any customer complaints or problems.
- Knowledgeable about vegan/dairy-free/organic food options.

**Job Type**: Seasonal
Contract length: 2 months

**Salary**: From $18.50 per hour
