**Division**: Local Tempo
**Work Status**: Full time/Maternity Leave Contract (54 weeks)
**Location**: Burnaby, BC. Position is fully flexible with options to work from home full time or flex in and out of the office.
About the Role
Local Tempo is a division of Corus Entertainment and has a full-time contract opening for Manager, Client Insights. In this role, you will be responsible for developing client and/or category insights through the use of third-party databases and Corus primary research, reporting directly to the Director, Local Tempo. You will be working closely with Revenue Teams and leaders across the country. Local Tempo has a strong team ethos; work with some of the best in the business while supported in a positive environment.

**Individual Accountabilities**:
- Developing client/category/media insights and strategy (for internal teams and clients/agencies)
- Supporting Demand Creation and Business Development initiatives for the revenue team
- Participating in client pitches (from brainstorming to presenting)
- Leading and coaching small Insights team
- Connecting internal teams and resources - supporting internal briefing, including Research Teams
- Help to ensure quality control on all client facing pitches that include insights components.
- Develop a deep understanding of emerging Corus Marketing effectiveness, learning and practices

About You

- Experience in:
- Advertising, media planning or broadcast related background
- Managing direct reports and establishing achievable team goals
- Strong communicator, capable of presenting in internal and external environments
- Knowledge of media planning tools - analyze and interpret audience research data in a clear concise manner.
- Motivated individual that embraces connecting with customers and building solutions.
