**Job description**

**DiGusto Pizza, Pasta & Wine Bar** is currently looking for a daytime **Bartender.**

We are looking for someone who is hard working and punctual. We pride ourselves on the freshness of our food and the quality of our staff. We are very welcoming and family oriented and would like someone who is the same.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification to ensure customers are of legal drinking age
- Adhere to all food safety and alcohol service regulations
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer concerns or complaints

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working in a restaurant or bar setting
- Proficiency in using a POS (Point of Sale) system for order processing and payment handling
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact with a diverse clientele
- Basic math skills for calculating bills, making change, and managing cash transactions
- Knowledge of bartending techniques, drink recipes, and mixology
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and ability to maintain accurate cash drawer records
- Understanding of food safety practices and ability to follow health code regulations
- Hospitality industry experience is a plus

You will be responsible for providing exceptional service, crafting delicious beverages, and ensuring the bar area is clean and well-stocked.
