Shunt Driver

**Position: Shunt Driver - Lachine, QC**
**Location**:2150, 46th Avenue, Montreal, QC, H8T 2P2
**Reports to**: Operations Supervisor
**Job Status**: Full-time
**Shift**: 5 days per week Monday to Friday between 7:00am - 3:30pm EST (Day shift)

If you have superior driving capabilities with an excellent track record and possess a valid Class Class 1 License, then we’d like to hear from you We maintain a well-organized yard with an excellent inventory tracking system, some customer equipment delivery and pick-up is required.

**YOUR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE**:

- Movement of semi-trailers and other various equipment around the yard.
- Greeting customers and ensure vehicles are moved appropriately to the proper location for servicing.
- Performing pre-trip inspections on units, as needed.
- Shop cleanup and assisting technicians when needed
- Performing Return inspections as needed
- Yard checks on inventory

**YOU NEED TO HAVE**:

- Valid Class 1 Driver’s License
- Clean Driver’s Abstract
- Strong Customer service orientation
- Good communication skills in French and English, Verbal
- Solid organizational capabilities and ability to complete multiple tasks
- Work effectively in, and contribute to, a team environment
- Extremely patient and able to work effectively in stressful situations

- pre-trip unit inspections: 2 years (required)
- performing return inspections: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 1 Licence (required)
- Clean Drivers Abstract (required)
