**Role Overview**

The **Sales Strategy and Operations Manager** will play a critical role in driving operational efficiency and effectiveness within the sales organization. Reporting to the **Director of Sales Strategy and Operations**, this position will be responsible for managing and optimizing sales processes, tools, and reporting to support Metergy’s growth trajectory. Additionally, the role will focus on supporting the development and implementation of strategies to expand into new markets across the USA, targeting key opportunities to secure large clients and drive business growth. Success in this role requires a data-driven mindset, adaptability to a fast-paced environment, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving. The Sales Strategy and Operations Manager will work closely with sales leaders, account managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, remove operational bottlenecks, and provide actionable insights that contribute to achieving sales targets.

**Sales Operations and Enablement**:

- Enhance and optimize the use of Salesforce CRM to ensure data integrity, compliance, and actionable reporting.
- Support the end-to-end sales process, including pricing, contracting, and post-sales support.
- Identify, implement, and lead process improvements to enhance sales efficiency and reduce friction.
- Streamline sales workflows and improve tool utilization across the sales team.

**Data Analysis and Insights**:

- Leverage strong SQL and analytical skills to analyze large datasets, discover patterns, and generate actionable insights.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key sales performance metrics, including volume, profitability, and funnel health.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to support strategic decision-making and sales planning.

**Strategic Support**:

- Collaborate with marketing and sales leaders to design and execute lead generation campaigns and growth initiatives.
- Partner with finance and legal teams to ensure accurate pricing, proposal creation, and contract management.
- Assist the Director of Sales Strategy and Operations with business development activities
- Supporting the preparation of proposals, presentations, and other materials for new business opportunities.
- Conducting market research and competitive analysis to identify potential opportunities and inform strategic direction.
- Coordinating with internal teams to gather information and resources needed for client discussions.
- Tracking business development initiatives and maintaining a pipeline of potential leads.
- Act as a trusted advisor to account managers, offering guidance and support to help exceed sales targets.

**Problem-Solving and Prioritization**:

- Break down complex problems to identify root causes and propose practical, scalable solutions.
- Balance priorities effectively, focusing on what’s possible while addressing high-priority issues with clarity and efficiency.
- Adapt to evolving business goals and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
