Prepress Technician

The Prepress Technician is responsible to troubleshoot, edit artwork files, color match, preflight, prepare and check electronic files for effective streamlined printing and processing using applicable software in a fast-paced print production environment including but not limited to:

- Validate artwork, and communicate with clients to perfect and approve proofs
- Light graphic design duties as needed
- Prepare impositioning & plate processing
- Process all printing requests accurately and effectively with tight deadlines.
- Utilize Adobe Creative Suite, Asanti, Caldera, EFI, PitStop, FusionPro or applicable software.
- Assist with web-site design, catalogue and sales literature preparation, including layout and creative.
- Assist with lamination, cutting, finishing, receiving, packing, organization, preparing sell sheets, proofs, vinyl weeding and masking, docket preparation as required from time to time.
- Assist with maintaining production scheduling to meet customer deadlines.

**Education**:

- Associate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Prepress or Print: 2 years (preferred)
- Adobe Creative Suite: 2 years (required)

Shift availability:

- Day Shift (preferred)

Work Location: One location

**Salary**: $23.00-$30.00 per hour
