Description: The Social Worker II (SW) provides services to clients and families including psychosocial assessment, crisis intervention, education, treatment, advocacy, resource finding, consultation, and discharge planning. The SW II is responsible for the provision of services in accordance with established standards, and the Mission, Vision, Values, policies and procedures of Covenant Health. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the HSAA Paramedical Professional/Technical Collective Agreement.

**Required Qualifications**:
Required Qualifications: Graduate of a Social Work program or recognized equivalent required. Active registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW) required.
**Additional Required Qualifications**:
Minimum of 2 years prior Social Work experience. Training & experience in mental health assessments and therapy, including CBT, DBT, and solution focused therapy. Training and experience in Perinatal Mental Health. This position requires a high degree of independence, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritize workload on a daily basis. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
