**Your Role**
- Set up and prepare all banquet functions including tables, chairs, and décor.
- Prepare and build buffets with food service equipment.
- Complete final breakdown of functions.
- Assisting with food service and buffet maintenance during meal periods.
- Cleaning and returning equipment to its proper location.
- Set up, stock, and maintain work areas.
- Transport dirty linen to correct area to be cleaned.
- Assisting with other banquet service tasks as needed

**Qualifications**
- Serving It Right Certificate.
- Ability to lift item that weigh up to 23 kilograms (50 pounds).
- Previous food service experience is an asset.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Able to work more than 20 hours/week
- Available to work events on evenings and weekends.

**Salary**: $18.62-$21.28 per hour

- Vancouver, BC V6E 3T3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Hotel or Hospitality: 1 year (required)
- Banquest Houseperson: 1 year (preferred)
