Event Setup Crew

**Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Cleaning, stocking and supplying all the guest-facing areas (sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, restroom cleaning)
- Performing and documenting maintenance activities and routine inspections
- Working with Wedding/Event Coordinators to set up the venue, table, floral arrangements, centrepieces, decor, furniture, etc
- Setting up chairs and tables
- Staging for weddings and events with Wedding/Event Manager
- Acting as a positive representative of the venue
- Building a positive and long-lasting relationship with clients, vendors and team members
- Performing other related duties as required

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Some experience in the wedding, event, and hospitality environment is not necessary but an asset
- Organizational skills and detail-oriented skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with a limited schedule
- Pride in your performance and its impact on the client's satisfaction
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Team player and self-starter
- Good time-management skills
- Ability to lift more than 15kg/35lb and move around for long periods of time
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Required to be available most weekends during the wedding season
- Ability to perform job functions with mínimal/no supervision
- Ability to focus attention on details

**Schedule**
Mid-May to mid-October
Morning and weekend shifts
