If you answered yes to these questions, Highstreet has the career path for you We're currently looking for a **Carpenter** to grow our construction team. This role will join our multi-family construction project team in West Kelowna, BC.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

As a Highstreet Carpenter, you will see yourself accomplishing a variety of carpentry tasks throughout the day while working closely with all project stakeholders. This includes our sub-trades, consultants, and Highstreet employees. The primary responsibilities in this role will include:

- Site carpentry as required including rough wood framing, backing, window and door installation
- Build hoardings and temporary shelters
- Installation of interior finishing components, door hardware and bathroom accessories
- Boom lift and skid steer operation
- Maintaining site cleanliness
- Champion work site safety
- Perform all duties assigned by the Foreman or Site Superintendent

**IDEAL CANDIDATE**

**Qualifications / Requirements**:

- 4+ years of carpentry experience or similar role
- Possess general understanding of construction procedures, equipment and WorkSafe guidelines
- Have good physical conditioning and stamina
- Ticketed on skid steer, boom lifts, and/or excavator would be an asset
- Work outside
- Valid Class 5 driver's license and reliable transportation

**Additional requirements**:

- Satisfactory criminal and credit check.
- Employees are required to have a smartphone and be willing to download certain apps for timekeeping etc.
