**Childventures Early Learning Academy Inc** has an excellent reputation in the field as a leader in child development. An educator plays a crucial role in making the programs interesting, interactive, and inclusive, encouraging a sense of exploration for each child. This should all be done in accordance with the vision, brand, and culture of Childventures.
We are currently looking for an educator to fill a part time 6 hours per day, contract for 12 weeks. These contracts may be extended, upon approval, and could turn into a full-time role, depending on campus requirements.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- You will spend your time one on one with one child, working in a larger group setting.
- You will work closely with various therapists including, but not limited to Intensive Behavioral Interventionists (IBI), Physiotherapists, Speech Therapists and Occupational Therapists to achieve pre-determined developmental goals for the child in your care.
- You would be responsible for maintaining a high-quality environment, assessing, stimulating, observing, influencing, and caring for the child under your care, in their classroom environment, outdoors and in any program within the center.
- You will be educating your child in accordance with the designated Childventures curriculum models for their age group and capabilities, while maintaining open and honest lines of communication with parents/guardians and CV team members, and always exemplifying integrity.
- Your responsibilities and tasks shall always be done in accordance with the Mission Statement of Childventures Early Learning Academy.
- Daily observations.
- Maintain child records.
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- RECE, ECA, or CYW
- Experience in early years education
We have apprentice opportunities for those currently, or soon to be, enrolled in an accredited post secondary institution, and have applied to the Ministry of Colleges and Universities
**MINISTRY REQUIREMENTS**:
- 2 Step TB
- Updated Immunizations (Tetanus, MMR)
- Vulnerable Sector Check
- Current Standard First Aid/CPR, Level C certification
