**Responsibilities**:

- Escorting of personnel, vendors, and customers within all secured spaces and data center white spaces per security policies, providing technical oversight during escorting activities.
- Review data center access requests, approve and execute site access requests according to processes and procedures, and interface with supplementary service providers, vendors, and Telco providers.
- Create and maintain documentation related to site-specific activities, processes, and procedures, and provide ad-hoc reporting as needed.
- Support current and future projects related to new tools, processes, and procedures implemented in the data center.
- Participate in planning of data center space and layout for new device installations, removals, and cabling infrastructure builds.
- Perform Service Management activities related to Incident, Problem, and Change, including reviewing requests in tools and ticketing systems, contributing to the creation of tickets and content, attending planning meetings, approving requests, recording activities performed, marking requests complete, and performing problem and root cause activities related to facilities incidents.
- Perform inventory management services including performing physical inspection and collection of information related to IT equipment within the data center, affixing provided barcodes and tags to all devices and items, performing scheduled periodic/random scans and inventory of equipment, collecting and entering information related to devices, materials, and cables into the database, ensuring accuracy of all data collected, completing monthly audits, supporting and participating in SOXA and Asset Inventory, performing shipping/receiving functions, tracking and entering data related to all packages and shipments, notifying requestors of deliveries, storing/filing physical evidence of shipping and receiving activities, performing an annual inventory of all packages stored onsite, and performing shipping functions including inventorying, scheduling, packaging, forms completion, notification, tracking, and other coordination of all IT equipment that leaves the data center property.

**Requirements**:

- Strong organizational and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Visio, and Microsoft.
- Analysis, problem-solving, organizational, team building, and conflict management skills.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended durations.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts, including day/nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Ability to utilize a pallet jack/forklift and familiar with IT equipment including servers, network switches, storage, and cabinets.
- Solid working knowledge of data center environments and infrastructure, network and telecommunications protocols and platforms, and disaster recovery.
- Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
