R. B. MacDonald Sales Inc. is a wholesale distributor of fabric and sewing notions.

This position performs a variety of material handling duties associated with the warehouse.

**Responsibilities**:
Pull/assemble/invoice and ship customer orders, check outbound orders for accuracy and completeness, inventory stock checks, restock vendor product, move, store, and replenish material, and perform inventory cycle counts as needed.

Following up with orders for quality assurance and confirmed delivery of product. Also responsible for the handling of any returns and exchanges that may occur.

Performs receiving duties such as receive/unload and verify inbound material, process inbound shipments, stock material, process customer returns and notification of damaged shipments for freight claims.

Maintains clean and organized facility by sweeping, trash removal and general organization and maintain a safe working environment.

Assist in communications between R. B. Macdonald Sales Inc. and our customers, suppliers, and couriers.

Performs other related warehouse duties as required.

**Education** **and** **Knowledge**:
Requires high school diploma or GED

Certified Forklift Operator an asset but not a requirement

**Experience**:
Experience in warehousing/ shipping / receiving an asset - training provided.

**Qualifications** **and** **Competencies**:
Basic math skills

Customer service skills

Ability to work effectively alone and within a team

Strong Ability to multi-task with effective time-management

Strong communication skills with a focus on quality customer service over the phone, online and in person.

Strong organizational skills

Ability to lift boxes up to 60lbs. multiple times throughout the course of a day

Strong work ethic, enthusiastic, and personable

Good Knowledge base of computers and common software such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Sage invoicing program.
