Superior Tofu is dedicated to food security, safety and quality products. Our goals are achieved through meeting SQF standards in all aspects of our operations. Our products are Kosher and Organic certified (on selected products)

Job Title**:Quality Assurance Supervisor**

**Objectives**: You are responsible for effective functioning of the QA Department. Ensure that all requirements are met and passing annual audits for SQF, Organics certification, Kosher certification and supplier audits. Be instrumental in establishing/improving effective programs which are both functional and economical.

**Responsibilities**

1. Leads all certification and supplier audits.

2. Documentation of food safety and quality programs: GMP/ HACCP/SQF

3. Ensure all SOPs are followed and take corrective actions when needed

4. Monitor plant for GMPs, SOPs, personal hygiene, product handling and HACCP requirements

5. Inspect incoming raw ingredients and materials and complete inspection forms

6. Perform Internal audits

7. Administration of QA functions to ensure product quality and food safety conform to SQF standards

8. Collect and compile production records

9. Perform line checks and quality tests on in-process products as need, trouble shoot line issues.

10. Inspect return products

11. Conduct microbiological testing on finished products and analyze results as need

12. Conduct environmental swabbing on plant equipment as need.

13. Data collection, data entry and record keeping

**Some Basic Requirements**:
1. Formal training on SQF, HACCP and GMP programs; Food Science Graduates

2. Minimum 3 years work experience in a food manufacturing plant.

3. Computer skills; intermediate level in MS Office

**4. **Fluency in English; great if you can also communicate in Chinese

This is a full-time position. Work schedule will vary depending on production schedule, with possibility of weekend shifts with average about 40 hours per weeks.

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$52,000.00 per year

- quality assurance: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- HACCP Certification (required)
- SQF Practitioner Certification (required)
