Veterinary Assistant

We are a small, busy and fast paced clinic looking for a part time Veterinary Assistant to add to our already strong veterinary team. We take care of cats and dogs at our clinic as well as all kinds of exotics including birds, reptiles and pocket pets.

Previous experience in a veterinary clinic is preferred and knowledge of Avimark is an asset, however, not mandatory. Strong communication and customer service skills are required. An integral part of this position is communicating with your coworkers and clients clearly and effectively.

Job requirements are:
Minimum 1-2 years commitment

Availability from Monday - Saturday

15 - 30 hours per week with 2-3 Saturdays a month. Shift length 5-10 hours.

**Salary**: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Education (preferred):
Completed Veterinary Assistant or Animal Care Program

Experience (preferred):
Veterinary Receptionist: 1 year

Veterinary Assistant : 1 year

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
