Petroleum Technician

**Job summary**:
Petroleum Technicians are responsible for the troubleshooting and repairs on numerous systems found in the retail and bulk fuel environments, including installation and repairs of point of sales systems, fuel dispensing systems, Pay at Pump systems, underground and above ground fuel storage tanks, fuel delivery trucks, and site control systems.

Training is provided on the job, no petroleum experience required.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with hand and power tools
- Experience with computers, and basic networking

**-**Ability to lift and move heavy materials
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug testing to obtain security clearances
- Great communication and customer service skills
- Team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work on the road independently

**Applicants are required to**:
**-**Hold a valid driver's license
- Communicate effectively in English
- Have exceptional customer service skills
- Be legally authorized to work in Canada
- Be able to work overtime throughout the week and weekend on an on-call basis

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
