**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Instruct Taekwondo Classes** - Teach students of varying skill levels, focusing on forms (poomsae), sparring, self-defense, and discipline.
- **Character Development** - Instill core values such as respect, perseverance, discipline, and confidence in students.
- **Class Management** - Maintain a structured, engaging, and safe learning environment.
- **Curriculum Implementation** - Follow and enhance the existing curriculum to ensure student progression.
- **Testing & Evaluations** - Assess students' skills and readiness for belt promotions.
- **Mentorship** - Serve as a role model and mentor for young students, helping them grow physically and mentally.
- **Parent Communication** - Provide feedback to parents regarding their child’s progress and development.
- **Safety & Facility Maintenance** - Ensure a clean and safe training environment.
- **Community Engagement** - Represent the school at events, demonstrations, and tournaments as needed.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- Certified Black Belt in Taekwondo (preferably Kukkiwon-certified).
- Previous teaching experience in Taekwondo or martial arts (preferred but not required).
- Strong communication and leadership skills, especially with children.
- Ability to engage and motivate students in a positive and encouraging manner.
- CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Background check required.

**Preferred Skills & Experience**:

- Experience working with children in an educational or athletic setting.
- Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate teaching methods.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Experience in organizing tournaments, camps, or special events.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
