The Meat Cutter is responsible for carrying out the full range of duties of the position in a professional, responsible, accurate and timely fashion. The Meat Cutter will deliver exceptional customer service, foster customer loyalty, fulfill customer needs and actively contribute to an environment of employee and customer engagement.

Reporting to the Meat Manager, your duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Bring a positive attitude every day
- Cutting, grinding, and preparing meats for sale
- Cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment and ensuring displays and signage are accurate
- Weighing, packaging, pricing, and displaying products
- Keeping records, budgets, and inventory
- Performing quality inspections on meats and other products
- Negotiating and confirming orders with suppliers
- Adhering to food safety and sanitation controls
- Coordinating deliveries or order pickups
- Performing any additional duties assigned by the Department Managers

**Experience**:

- You have an impeccable level of cleanliness, attention to detail and organization
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt well to shifting priorities
- You are highly self-motivated and work well under mínimal supervision
- You possess strong customer service skills
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- You work well with others in a high-pressure environment
- You have 1+ years of experience working in a Butcher Shop, Meat Department or related field
- You can work on your feet up to 8 hours in a day
- **You have a valid work authorization (i.e., work permit, student permit, PR) in Canada**
