**Job Functions : Quality Control technician ( Contract 6 months )**

Only legal residents of Canada or applicants with valid work permits will be accepted for an interview.
- Physical, sensory, chemical, visual
- Metal detector monitoring
- Raw material and packaging material verification
- Prepare, conduct and document Elisa allergen testing, document microbiological swabs, water sampling results
- Perform sensory evaluation, shelf life products, water activity
- Administrative duties : Data entry, filing, scanning docs

Specific Skills:

- 1 -2 years of quality dept experience from within a food manufacturing ( must ).
- Lab specific skills, knowledge of Elisa Methodology.
- Knowledge of HACCP, GFSI, FSMA, CFIA, FDA food regulations.
- Adhere to all GMP, food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Able to work in a fast paced, hot environment.
- Able to multi task.

Education:

- Post Secondary Degree/ Diploma in Food Science, Quality Assurance from a recognized educational institution

Shifts:

- Able to work days, afternoons, nights, weekends

Pay: From $21.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
