Automotive Detailer

**OVERVIEW**:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer service-focused individual to join our team as an Automotive Detailer. As an Automotive Detailer, you will be responsible for:

- Ensuring vehicles are thoroughly washed/cleaned and prepared for our customers.
- Installing paint protection films (PPF)
- Vinyl Wrapping vehicles
- Tinting windows/windshields

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- **FOR CAR CLEANING/WASHING:

- **_
- Clean and detail vehicles, both interior and exterior, to a high standard
- Vacuum, shampoo, and steam clean carpets and upholstery
- Wash and wax vehicle exteriors to restore shine and protect surfaces
- Polish and buff vehicle surfaces to remove scratches and imperfections
- Do ceramic coating
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
- Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and report any maintenance or repair needs
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly maintained and stocked
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
- **FOR PPF & VINYL WRAPS:

- Thoroughly cleaning the surface of the vehicle to remove any dirt, dust, or contaminants that could interfere/affect with the adhesion of the PPF or vinyl wrap. This may involve washing the car and using alcohol or other cleaning agents to ensure a clean surface.
- Measure the sections of the vehicle where the PPF / vinyl wrap will be applied and then cut the film accordingly. This requires precision to ensure the film fits the contours of the body panels properly.
- Should also be able to use Graphtec Plotter for cutting the film.
- Trimming of any excess material from edges and seams and ensure that edges are properly sealed to prevent lifting or peeling.
- Inspect the entire surface of the vehicle to ensure that the PPF / vinyl wrap has been applied correctly and that there are no imperfections and bubbles.
- Educate the customer on how to care for their vehicle with PPF / vinyl wrap, including proper cleaning techniques and maintenance.
- Ensuring the customer is satisfied with the installation and addressing any concerns or issues promptly is crucial for maintaining a good reputation and building customer loyalty.
- **FOR TINTING:

- Clean the windows thoroughly to remove any dirt, dust, or debris that could interfere with the tint's adhesion.
- Accurately measure the dimensions of the windows and cut the tint film accordingly. This requires precision to ensure the film fits the windows properly.
- Should also be able to use Graphtec Plotter for cutting the film.
- Trim any excess tint film and ensure that the edges are properly sealed to prevent peeling or lifting. This step contributes to the overall aesthetics and longevity of the tint job.
- Thoroughly inspect the tinted windows to ensure that the film has been applied correctly and that there are no imperfections or defects.
- Educate the customer in regard to proper care and maintenance to prolong the life of the tint film.
- Address any concerns or issues the customer may have and ensure they are satisfied with the tinting job before completing the service.

**SKILLS REQUIRED**:

- Strong attention to detail
- Technical skills and precision to achieve high quality finish and effective protection to vehicle's paint
- Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive experience for customers
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting heavy equipment and standing for long periods of time
- Knowledge of different cleaning products, tools, PPF/Wrapping films and techniques used in automotive detailing is a plus

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person
