Automated Gate Service and Installation Technician

Overview:
**Responsibilities**:

- Install, maintain, and repair automated access control systems and equipment
- Troubleshoot systems and diagnose issues
- Utilize power tools and hand tools for assembly and repair tasks
- Program, test, and calibrate automated systems
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment efficiency
- Provide technical support
- Ability to occasionally lift heavy equipment
- Required to complete descriptive work orders of completed services

**Requirements**:

- Must have a valid class 5 drivers license
- Experience working with low voltage electrical systems
- Ability to detect and resolve electrical malfunctions
- Strong problem-solving skills in automation technology
- Excellent communication skills to communicate effectively with team members
- Prior experience in automation maintenance and repair is preferred

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- electrical technician: 1 year (required)
