New Directions is a social service agency offering a wide range of resources and services that foster people’s hopes and dreams in their communities.

Supported Cluster Housing is one of the many services offered by New Directions. Cluster Housing provides independent living supports to people who may have intellectual disabilities and/or mental health issues, and who experience barriers to living independently in the community.

**Friday and Saturday 11pm - 7am awake at night**

Job Responsibilities Include: (But are not limited to)
- Monitoring and securing housing buildings to ensure the safety of all tenants
- Transporting self to various locations throughout the Winnipeg area during each shift
- Ensuring visitors do not enter the buildings
- Responding to crisis situations and/or contacting 911 (if visitors do not leave or in case of emergency)
- Ensuring tenants do not damage the property
- Conducting thorough regular and exit walk throughs of the buildings, reporting anything out of the ordinary, and ensuring doors are all locked, and the areas are secure
- Completing detailed reports and shift logs upon completion of every shift
- Empowering individuals to maintain independent living situations in a cluster housing model.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 1 year of experience working with people with intellectual disabilities is required
- Experience working with people with mental health barriers preferred
- Effective problem-solving ability & strong communication skills
- The ability to work independently and as a part of a team
- First Aid/CPR and NVCI training will be provided.

The salary range for this part-time (32 hour bi-weekly) position is $15.89 to $22.25 per hour ($13,220 to $18,512 annually), dependent upon education and/or experience. A full benefits package (which includes Health, Dental, and Long Term Disability Benefits)
