**Full-Time Paint Sales Associate**

Reporting to the House of Excellence General Manager, the Paint Sales Associate collaborates with clients to find the best colours for any sized space, based on functionality, the client’s lifestyle, and personal taste, in addition to providing great decorating ideas that can be applied to the space. The incumbent strives to create long-term relationships that will lead to increased sales and profitability.

Responsibilities for this position include, but not limited to the following:

- Ensure each House of Excellence customer has an informative and positive experience by using good customer service skills and knowledge of products
- Assist clients with identifying a style for their space and provide recommendations for appropriate decorating components
- Provide advisory services on colour scheming to clients and develop and design colour schemes for residential, commercial, or industrial spaces
- Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of products and materials

**Paint**:

- Consult with clients and advise about colour selection and paint types
- Understand the psychology of colour, and know how to achieve a highly desirable and harmonious colour flow for any sized space

**Administrative**:

- Stock and face shelves as required
- Keep workspace clean and tidy
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in retail sales
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and build rapport with clients
- Creative, resourceful, and artistic approach to colour
- Self-directed and self-motivated
- Willing to participate in online learning with Benjamin Moore

This is a full-time position, with salary and benefits which commensurate with qualifications and experience. Training will be provided.
