**Overview**
The Conference Manager / Community Development Lead leads the PPDM Association’s community building portfolio and is responsible for a variety of tasks including, but not limited to conference planning, agenda building, sponsorship and exhibitions, and event production, social media and other community building functions.

**Skill Requirements**
- **Must have direct experience with business centric conference planning and execution.**:

- Must have strong sales and marketing capability.
- Must have multitasking and task prioritization skills.
- Must be people oriented, with great communication skills, both written and oral.
- Must be organized and self-motivated.
- Must have strong attention to detail.
- Should have good MS Office and computer skills.
- Good understanding of budgets and finance.

**Event Responsibilities**
- Work with PPDM CEO, Team Leads and Regional Leadership Teams to plan, organize and execute conferences, meetings and events (online, hybrid, in person).
- Develop conference, meeting and event schedules for PPDM event portfolio.
- Obtain sponsorships and sell exhibit space.
- Establish budgets for events and support contracts and pricing from venue owners.
- Oversee and participate in all event logistics from inception to completion.
- Recruit attendance for all events and activities.

**Logistical Responsibilities**
- Contribute to and collect content for website/web page development.
- Support and complete necessary event logistics, such as printing, venue, food and beverage, activities etc.

**Technical Responsibilities**
- Support and complete required reporting and metrics using Excel and PPDM’s member management system.
- Support registrations, payments etc in collaboration with other team members.
- Oversee PPDM’s social media presence, working with other team members.

**Experience**
- 5 or more years of event planning, organization and logistics.
- Selling sponsorships, exhibit space etc.
- Recruiting attendance for events.
- Relevant degree or diploma, or equivalent education and experience.

Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
