As a Technical Writer, you will be required to produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for the intended audience. This role works closely with various departments to translate technical concepts into accessible content.
**Location**: 160 Consolidated Drive, Paris, ON
**Dedicated Day Shift**: 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday
**Job Duties**:

- Create documentation for technical and non-technical audiences (including user manuals, service manuals, and technical training materials) ensuring that documentation is consistent, professional, and technically accurate
- Collaborate with engineers, developers, product managers, and others stakeholders to gather information and ensure content accuracy
- Create hydraulic and electrical circuit schematics and diagrams using existing engineering drawings
- Conduct research and analysis on new technologies and products to provide accurate and relevant content
- Implement user feedback to improve documentation and user experience

**Skills and Experience**:

- Strong understanding of technical concepts and ability to translate them into user-friendly documentation that is clear and concise.
- Ability to conduct thorough research and gather accurate information from various sources.
- Ability to analyze and synthesize information to create coherent documentation.
- Ensure all technical details are correct and consistent.
- Strong command of grammar, punctuation, and writing styles.
- Meticulously proofreading to eliminate errors.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's Degree in a related field such as English, Communications, Computer Science or Engineering
- Software Proficiency utilizing tools such as Adobe inDesign, Paligo(CCMS), Adobe Illustrator, Corel Designer, SolidWorks, SolidWorks Composer or other documentation software a definite asset
- Strong writing and communication skills are essential to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner
