We are looking for an experienced Industrial Painter for our client located in Woodstock. They are into the business of Steel Fabrication.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare steel surfaces for painting by cleaning, grinding, sanding, and removing rust, mill scale, and old paint.
- Mix and match paints and coatings to meet specific job requirements.
- Inspect painted surfaces for quality, ensuring that coatings are applied evenly, without defects, and meet specified thickness requirements.
- Maintain and clean painting equipment, tools, and work areas to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Follow all safety protocols, including the proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Collaborate with welders, fabricators, and other team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as an Industrial Painter.
- Familiarity with surface preparation techniques for steel, including sandblasting, grinding, and chemical cleaning.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and practices in an industrial setting.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects, work in confined spaces, and stand for long periods.

**Location**: Woodstock

**Pay Rate**: $19/hr.

**Working Hours**: 7 am to 3:30 pm

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift

**Experience**:
