**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and friendly Cashier/Sales associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing excellent service while processing transactions and assisting with product inquiries. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage time efficiently will contribute to a positive shopping experience for our clientele.

**Responsibilities**
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their shopping experience.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the cash register.
- Assist customers with product inquiries and provide technical sales support when needed.
- Demonstrate products through engaging product demos to enhance customer understanding and interest.
- Upsell additional products or services based on customer needs and preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring all merchandise is properly displayed.
- Handle returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain a positive work environment.

**Qualifications**
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers in English; bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus.
- Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in technical sales or familiarity with product demonstrations is advantageous.
- A friendly demeanor, strong interpersonal skills, and a passion for helping others are essential for success in this role.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 10 per week

**Experience**:

- Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)
- Upselling: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
