The Mobile Crushing Foreman’s (MCF) primary objective is to ensure that all operational activities relating to the mobile crushing system is performed in a safe, cost effective, well maintained and productive manner. The MCF, while leading a crew of 1 to 2 other heavy equipment operators, is a “working” foreman that can perform various tasks in equipment operations, maintenance and administration. From time to time based on scheduling and availability of work, the MCF may be assigned to other Rice Group construction/demolition work. Work on weekends required from time to time.

Responsible for supervision, motivation, and scheduling of mobile crusher team to maintain operational efficiencies to minimize downtime and maximize crusher throughput.

Ensures that daily checklists are performed by personnel, logged and reported to the Operations Manager.

Monitors crushing system and heavy equipment for proper function (ie: belts, blow bars, drums, power, etc...) Ensures the crushing system is loaded with properly sized material avoiding any material that can potentially damage the equipment (ie: steel, oversize concrete, etc...)

Ensures all personnel time sheets are correctly filled in with proper cost codes and handed in to payroll on time.

Demonstrates leadership and behaviours consistent with health & safety policies through front-line engagement, training and enforcement of policies. Ensures that all job hazard assessments, risk analysis and daily safety checklists items are performed. Conducts daily tailgate talks with mobile crushing team to ensure a high level of awareness on hazards and that controls are in place to keep operations safe.

**Skills Required**:

- Heavy equipment experience and/or aggregates manufacturing 5 years (ie: loader, excavator, skid steer etc..)
- Strong knowledge of aggregate materials
- Strong communication skills
- Strong managerial skills in positive engagement, change management and situational leadership
- Able to develop effective working relationships internally and externally
- Must speak fluent English
