**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the complete operations pertaining to grounds maintenance & snow removal.
- Safety is the number 1 priority. Responsible for ensuring crews maintain safe work practices, complete all required pre-use equipment inspection and field level risk assessments. Ensure company policies and procedures are communicated to staff and enforced.
- Perform full tender process from invitation to submission including take off, cost estimation, scope review, completing bid forms, site visits, attending bid interviews, communication and RFP with suppliers, preparing RFI with clients, tracking and follow up on submissions and presenting bid opportunity to management.
- Pursue new business opportunities to tender.
- Overall responsibility for compliance to contract specifications, crew efficiency, production and performance to budget.
- Complete customer service and follow up on an as required and scheduled basis. Address any customer concerns on a timely basis.
- Coordinate construction warranty and maintenance activities as contractually required. Maintain tracking of contractual requirements and facilitate customer reviews to close out contractual obligations.
- Coordinate water truck activities both internal and sub-contracted.
- Develop staffing plan to support all grounds maintenance and snow removal operations. Recruit and interview potential hires.
- Coordinate equipment repairs and maintenance with dispatcher.
- Review vehicle, tool and equipment needs with Operation Manager for approval.
- Attend weekly review with Operations Manager to review current projects and any roadblocks to be addressed.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 3-5 years in the construction/landscape industry in a managerial role
- Well experienced in cost estimating and the tendering requirements in the construction industry
- Excellent communication and customer facing skills
- Confident in mentoring and guiding employees in achieving company objectives and providing excellent customer service
- Able to quickly respond to changing demands
- Have a clean G license
- Able to obtain a security clearance
- Ability to communicate in English, French and Spanish would be an asset.

**Salary**: From $90,000.00 per year
