Veterinary Receptionist

**Job Summary**
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for pet owners and their beloved animals, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations of our veterinary clinic. Your responsibilities will include scheduling appointments, handling inquiries, and ensuring a welcoming environment for both clients and pets.

**Duties**
- Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival at the clinic.
- Schedule and confirm appointments, managing the calendar efficiently to minimize wait times.
- Answer phone calls and respond to client inquiries regarding services, procedures, and pet care.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including updating medical histories and treatment plans.
- Process payments and manage billing inquiries with attention to detail.
- Assist veterinary staff with administrative tasks as needed, including laboratory experience when applicable.
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Provide information on preventative care and wellness services to clients.

**Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in veterinary technology or related fields is a plus.
- Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting REQUIRED.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor towards both clients and animals.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Laboratory experience is highly desirable but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
