**OVERVIEW OF POSITION**
The bilingual compliance agent is responsible for auditing pre-recorded calls and associated files for quality assurance, and to ensure compliance with federal and provincial regulations, client’s directives as well as company policies and procedures. The compliance agent is also responsible for identifying and reporting on areas of opportunity to improve overall quality. The compliance agent will report to the manager of compliance.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Monitor and score phone calls based on set parameters
- Perform daily, weekly and monthly file audit
- Identify infractions and trends based on policies and procedures
- Provide ongoing feedback to management
- Prepare, update, and retrieve data for reporting purposes
- Provide requested information to senior management
- Other duties as assigned by Compliance Manager or VP, Corporate Services
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Minimum of one year’s experience in a collection role preferred
- Bilingualism in English and French is required
- Demonstrated knowledge of federal and provincial regulations pertaining to debt collections
- Strong analytical skills
- Familiarity with DRS and CUBS an asset
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with attention to detail
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to changes well
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize a high volume of tasks and competing priorities
- Team oriented individual who is also an independent worker and a self-starter
**Salary**: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
