Seasonal (Seasonal) **WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME?** Resort Perks: - Free Alterra Mountain Pass for employees; ski or ride for free at 14 Alterra owned destinations - Alterra Mountain Passes for your family - Discounts on Blue Mountain Lift tickets. - Free rentals; - Staff priced meals &Starbucks treats; - Staff room rates at all our hotels;Retail savings at Burton, Columbia, North Face, Red Devil, Hillside, and more **Full-Time Seasonal - Starts ASAP** **Wage: 17.70/hr** **Monday to Friday - 12:00pm to 10:00pm** **WHAT WILL I BE DOING?** - Placement, positioning and upkeep of padding and fencing. - Tree line trimming and removal of fallen trees or other hazardous items from trails. - Respond to and document issues reported by Ski Patrol in an appropriate time frame. - Communicate electrical issues in regards to night lighting and any other hazards to the appropriate departments. - Maintain the general appearance of guest staging/gathering areas. - Maintain snow levels around buildings, hill benches and waste receptacles. - Responsible for removing and placing ski racks on nightly basis. - Hand Cleaning of hills and rest areas. - Assist with Grooming, Snowmaking and Grounds Maintenance when required **WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?** - Over 18 with a valid Class "G" Drivers License in good standing required - Snowmobile experience an asset - Ski/Snowboard experience an asset - Enjoys working outdoors and able to work in inclement weather conditions - Physically fit, able to lift and carry heavy materials and to perform repetitive tasks involving bending, stretching, walking and kneeling. - Must be able to operate a range of equipment from simple handheld tools to power tools - Experience in minor maintenance and repair of equipment an asset - Must be safety conscious and wear required safety equipment when on the job **AUTHENTICITY | EMPOWERMENT | COLLABORATION | PURPOSE** **BLUE MOUNTAIN RESORT COMPANY OVERVIEW** Blue Mountain Resort is Ontario's largest mountain resort.
