**Summary**

We are seeking a driven and customer-focused Sales Representative to join our team at Armstrong Sand and Gravel. This role is pivotal in driving business growth by managing client accounts and developing new business opportunities. Your contributions will be essential in maintaining our reputation as an industry leader.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and retention through regular communication and excellent service.
- Proactively identify and pursue sales opportunities within the construction, landscaping, municipal, and industrial sectors.
- Identify new business opportunities through market analysis and networking.
- Lead negotiations with clients to secure contracts that align with company goals.
- Respond to customer inquiries and prepare accurate quotes based on product availability, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure client needs are met during project execution.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and adjust strategies.
- Attend job sites and customer meetings as needed to understand project needs and build rapport.
- Maintain sales records, customer interactions, and forecasts using CRM or internal systems.
- Assist in resolving customer concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in sales, preferably within the construction, aggregates, or industrial materials industries.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and internal teams.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals successfully.
- Ability to analyze market trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic CRM systems.

Pay: $75,000.00-$90,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Agassiz, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
