**Overview**:
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the manning of the Millstores Department, and organization direction and control of inventory materials required for operations.

**Position Summary & Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the safe operations in the Millstores department, ensuring all safety program, Work Safe regulations, company safety programs and policies are adhered to.
- Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
- Ensure an acceptable departmental level of housekeeping is maintained, safeguarding warehouse operations and contents by ensuring the cleanliness and security of the work environment.
- Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operations, and personnel policies and procedures.
- Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system, keeping stock control systems up to date and planning future capacity requirements.
- Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; co-ordination with supply chain manager for issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
- Ensure all inventory location are stocked/replenished as requirements.
- Ensure timely deliveries of chemicals, raw materials, direct charge and inventories based on min/max levels so as to assure no down time is attributed to shortage.
- Review working practices, and make recommendations for improvements to the Supply Chain Manager and maintain development programs and recommend department training.
- Maintain supply chain reports generated from SAP data.
- Management of Consignment inventory.

**Qualifications**:

- Supervisory experience and (basic) SAP knowledge
- High school graduate.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with Excel spreadsheet experience.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and communications skills in both dynamic team environments and with vendors.
