**Laborer/Warehouse Associate**

Link Suspensions of Canada, LP is looking for a **Laborer/Warehouse Associate** to join our Nisku, AB team

**Duties include, but are not limited to the following**:

- Operate grinding and buffing tools as necessary.
- Assist welders by sweeping and helping to keep the work area clutter-free.
- Stage parts for Welding department according to work order and issue parts to work order in ERP system once staged.
- Visually inspect all welded parts and check welding specifications.
- Ensure parts are dimensionally correct as per drawing specifications.
- Install pieces on parts that cannot be done by Welding.
- Continuous communication with Welding & Warehouse Supervisors.
- Cross train to ensure adequate vacation and illness backup coverage between departments.
- Ensure that all safety policies and procedures are adhered to and report any hazards or incidents immediately.
- Participate in Production process, interacting and working cooperatively with Paint, Warehouse and Welding departments.
- Maintain a tidy and safe work environment.
- Operate bushing press, engraving machine and wheelabrator.
- Be a team player - help out in other departments as often as time allows.

**Education/Experience**:

- Grade 12 diploma.
- Must be able to stand and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods of time.
- Experience with overhead crane.
- Experience with forklift.
- Strong organizational and problem solving skills.
- Extreme attention to detail.
- Very safety conscious.

Supplemental pay types:

- Nisku, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Shop: 1 year (preferred)
